New sorting options and better listing process!
It is now so much easier to find what you are looking for and post what you have to offer.
When creating a listing, you can now choose from three listing types at the top of the form. Select For Sale or Trade if you have an item you want to sell or swap. Select Free or Giveaway if you want to give something away at no charge. Select Wanted if you are looking for a specific item and want sellers to contact you. Free and Wanted listings cost nothing to post â the $1.00 fee applies only to For Sale and Trade listings.
On the home page and the View All Listings page, the sort selection box now includes filter options for Free items only, For Sale or Trade only, and Wanted ads only, in addition to the existing sort options like Newest First, Price Low to High, and Expiring Soonest. Both pages now use the same set of options, so sorting works the same way no matter where you are browsing.
As always, all listings are reviewed before going live. If you see any problems, please let us know.

New feature: category alerts!
I'm excited to announce a brand new feature that puts you in control of what lands in your inbox â category alerts!
You can now subscribe to receive an immediate email notification when a new listing is posted in any category you choose. Whether you have been waiting for a braille display, a screen reader, a mobility aid, or anything else â you will hear about it, when it goes live, without having to check the site manually.
Here is how it works. Log in and visit the new My Email Alerts page, which you will find in the navigation menu. From there you can choose any combination of categories you want to follow. There is also a Select All option if you want to be notified about everything across the entire marketplace. Each alert arrives as its own individual email with the listing details and a direct link so you can get there quickly.
The Daily Flier is still available too for those who prefer a once-a-day summary rather than individual alerts. You can subscribe to one, the other, or both â it is entirely up to you.
Head over to your alerts page and set your preferences today. You are going to love this one.
